We are saddened to report the passing of Laurie Wright, a pioneer in the field of military vehicle research, and Mick Bell, another military research stalwart and modeller. Paul Handel has written a brief tribute to Laurie and Mick.
With Anzac Day 2008 upon us, and with two excellent new Staghound kits in 1/35 scale, Paul Handel's timing is perfect for his new article on the Staghound Armoured Car in Australian Service.

Welcome to the first day of "Anzac Steel". This site will contain reference photographs and articles about Australian and New Zealand military vehicles; plus some material covering other British and Commonwealth armour. Two new articles on Australian vehicles for the launch:
